VERUM archives public records from U.S. federal agencies obtained through legal channels including FOIA requests, federal court filings, and official government releases.
Permitted: journalistic research, academic study, legal investigation, accountability research, personal education. Prohibited: harassing or defaming individuals; commercial data harvesting without appropriate subscription; circumventing access controls; any use violating applicable law.
VERUM takes no editorial position on archived documents. The presence of an individual's name is not an allegation, finding, or conclusion by VERUM. Users are responsible for drawing their own conclusions.
Registration requires a valid email. You are responsible for credential confidentiality. You may not share, sell, or transfer access codes. VERUM may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Paid subscriptions are suspended — not canceled — on non-payment, and restored at original price on reactivation. Grandfather pricing applies when prices change. Payments processed by Stripe.
Platform provided "as is." Total liability for any claim shall not exceed amounts paid in the prior twelve months or $100, whichever is greater.
Governed by U.S. law. Disputes resolved by binding AAA Commercial Arbitration. State of venue to be updated upon entity formation.
Material changes communicated by email at least 14 days before taking effect.
Registered users: email address, password (bcrypt hashed, never stored in plaintext), optional display name, subscription tier, activity logs. Guest sessions: session identifiers, IP address (retained 30 days then deleted). We do not collect real names, physical addresses, or payment card numbers.
VERUM does not sell user data. Does not share with third parties except as required by law or Platform operation. No advertising networks, no third-party tracking, no behavioral profiling for sale.
Email: authentication and opt-in notifications. Session data: functionality, rate limiting, abuse prevention. Activity logs: RPG/XP system, contribution tracking, subscription feature gating.
Data in transit: TLS 1.3. Data at rest: encrypted. Credentials in environment variables. Backups encrypted.
Request a copy of your data or account deletion at contact@verumvault.io with "Data Request" in subject. Processed within 30 days.
Session cookies for authentication and preferences only. No tracking or third-party cookies.
Platform not intended for users under 18. Contact contact@verumvault.io if you believe a minor has registered.
